Palestinian Cultural Heritage Project
Palestinian Cultural Heritage is a digital initiative dedicated to preserving and promoting the rich cultural heritage of Palestine. This project highlights the traditions, folklore, arts, and historical narratives that form an integral part of Palestinian identity.
In 2025, a group of young cultural advocates, led by Diea Ahmed Ikhlayel, launched the Turathna website. Supported by Irish Aid and Hebron University, the project aims to document, preserve, and share Palestinian folklore and cultural heritage with both local and global audiences.
The platform serves as a central repository for folklore, traditional crafts, music, oral histories, and other forms of intangible cultural heritage, ensuring they remain accessible for future generations.
